Bennie Wallace was born on March 14, 1946, in Edwards, Mississippi, to the late George and Demenia Wallace. He departed his earthly life on
January 26, 2023. Bennie accepted Christ at an early age, where he joined Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Utica Junior College and was a licensed barber. He also had a Bachelor of Science degree in Theology from the Mississippi Baptist Seminary.

Bennie was inducted into the United States Army in April 1968 and served his country in the Vietnam War. He was united in matrimony to
Grace (Clincy) Wallace and from this union five children were born. Bennie retired from Siemens as a lineman after 38 years of employment.
He was an ordained minister and preached his first sermon on February 13, 1977. For more than 30 years he pastored El Bethel Missionary Baptist
Church in Bolton, Mississippi when he retired in 2019. Bennie is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters. Bennie leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Sharon Mason; four sons, Timothy Wallace, Zacchaeus (Kedra) Wallace, Quentin Wallace, and Desi Wallace; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Louise Virginia Myrick, Mamie Agusta Marshall and Rosie D. Barber; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
