Service will be held Monday September 12, 2016, at 11:00 am at Morning Star Baptist Church, 3420 Albermarle Rd, Jackson, MS.Committal will be at Garden Memorial Park Cemetery, Jackson, MS.Visitation will be Monday September 12, 2016 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Morning Star Baptist Church.

Carrie Lee (Robinson) Denham was born October 7, 1925 in Terry Mississippi, to Willie and Johnnie Mae (Summers) Robinson.Being reared by her loving grandparents, Carrie accepted Christ at a young age.She attended Collis Hill Church of Christ Holiness in Terry Mississippi.

Carrie left the small town of Terry for Jackson Mississippi as a young adult.She joined Morning Star Baptist Churchunder the leadership of Dr. M. K. Nelson and attended regularly until her illness.

One son, Rudie Lawrence Davis preceded her in death.

She is survived by:her children, Lynda (Clevester) Parmer Washington, DC, Joyce (James) Phillips Little Rock Arkansas, Ronnie (Floria) Davis Austell, GA, Lesia DuckworthPowell Jackson, MS; 4 sisters and 2 brothers, Clara Mae Thomas Chicago, Illinois, Annette Flicklin Jackson Mississippi, Linda Walker Jackson, Mississippi, Annie Ruth Pope Jackson, Mississippi, Calvin Robinson (Mary) Boston, Massachusetts, Robert "Pop" Robinson Terry, Mississippi; five grandchildren; one great-grand child; and a host of nieces and nephews.
