Obituary

Today we come to celebrate the life of Carrie Mae Clark Tyler, The daughter of the late John Henry and Rose " Roise" Clark. Carrie was born into this world on July 1, 1964 and enter God's Kingdom on February 27, 2023.

Carrie's formal education was in Madison County Schools where she graduated from Madison Ridgeland High School in 1982.  Her favorite activity was being a cheerleader. She received a Computer Science degree from Phillips Junior College.  Her early Christian education began at Pilgrim Rest M B Church, where she was baptized under the leadership of the late Reverend Bernard Stevenson. At the time of her demise, she was under the leadership of the Reverend Dr. Matthew L. Canada.

She is the mother of one child, a son, Christpher Dewayne Tyler of Ridgeland, MS. She was a devoted mother who enjoyed helping Chris discover that the world is one the greatest experiences in her life.

Carrie had a good soul and was loving and caring for everyone she met.  She loved her family so very much and would do anything to make them happy. She was always making friends and knew someone just about everywhere she went.

She is preceded in death by her parents: John Henry & Rosie Clark; three brothers, Johnnie Earl Clark, John Henry Clark, Jr., and Clyde Douglas Love; and a brother-in-law, Joe E. Harris.

Carrie leaves to cherish her memories, her loving son, Christopher DeWayne Tyler of Ridgeland, MS; two sisters, Sherrie Harris and Cynthia Faye Clark of Ridgeland, MS; one brother, Fredrick Lott (Samona) of Dallas, TX; a very special friend, Nancy Pate; Christopher's father, Leroy Cook, and other relatives and friends.
