Ms. Charlene Thompson was born on August 114, 1962, in Warren County, Mississippi, to the late Eliza Minor and her birth father, the late Alonza Coleman, Sr. After Eliza married Lewis Thompson, he lovingly raised and provided for Charlene as her father throughout her life in Edwards, Mississippi.

Charlene accepted Christ at an early age at St. Mark M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Hopkins. She later joined Resurrection Outreach Ministry under the leadership of Bishop Anna Roach in Edwards, MS, and became an ordained minister in June 2016. Charlene attended and graduated from Hinds Agricultural High School (HAHS) in 1981.
