Cornelius Moriley , also known to many as "Beaver," was born to Aljosie and OD Moriley on December 11, 1958, in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Cornelius made his transition at the age of 64 in Edwards, Mississippi on The Hill. "Beaver" enjoyed life to the absolute fullest. He enjoyed fishing and hanging out on The Hill entertaining family and friends. Cornelius was known as the town photographer, an artist with a pencil, one of the best dry wall installers in the town and was a keen salesperson. If you wanted it, you could rest assured that Beaver would find it and sell it to you. Cornelius Moriley retired from Tyson Foods in 2021. Cornelius Moriley was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Moriley; his parents, Aljosie and OD Moriley; his brothers Aljosie, Jr. and Johnny Moriley; and his aunt, Effie Bingham.
Cornelius Moriley , leaves to cherish his life and legacy, his children, Alexis McCullah (Demetric Burks), of Edwards, Mississippi, Kenyatta Jefferson of Arlington, TX, and Avery Cooks (Afreeica) of Atlanta, GA; stepdaughter, Shaunta Williams; grandchildren, Breannah McCullah, Mekhi Strong, Londynn McCullah, Octwan Cooks, Predesyn Cooks, Askyha Cooks, and Timothy Cooks; sisters, Linda Lomax (Stanley), Diane Johnson (Lester), and Alice Smothers (Reginald); brothers, Tommy Moriley and Alonzo Moriley; and a host of extended family and friends.
