Cynthia Faye Clark was the third child of seven siblings born to the union of the late John Henry and Rosie Mary Clark. She was baptized at an early age and joined Richmond Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her health failed. Cynthia was educated in the Madison County School System where she achieved her high school diploma. She lived in Ridgeland, Mississippi for sixty-five years.

Cynthia was preceded in death by: her parents, John and Rosie Clark; three brothers, John Henry Clark, Jr. "Pee Wee", Johnny Earl Clark, "Dilly" and Clyde Douglas Love; and one sister, Carrie Mae Tyler, "LuLu". Cynthia leaves to cherish her memory: one sister, Sherrie (Joe E.) Harris, of Ridgeland, Mississippi; one brother, Fredrick (Samona) Lott of Anna, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews, other relatives and friends. During her decline in health, Cynthia was cared for by Sherrie Harris, Kimberly Harris, Rosie "Ann" Catchings, Barbara Nelle Lewis, Demetrice Stokes, and Sharon Tucker.
