Donna Faye Mckennis, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, sister-in- law, and friend was born on April 7, 1961, to Mr. and Mrs. Charlie and Thelma Mckennis. Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, she graduated from Jim Hill High School and received her License of Cosmetology. She then became a cook at Beatty Street Grocery where she remained for over 10 years.

She loved to listen to music. Her favorite past time was going to the casino with Corey. She always had a smile on her face no matter where you saw her. She had a sharp tongue and a quick temper. She was "Big Mack" to those who knew her. (Still My Love) those who know. She was loving, caring and kind, and was willing to help anyone in any way possible. She leaves the following loved ones to mourn and cherish her
wonderful memories: two children, Ladonna and Corey Mckennis; three grandchildren, Kamori Mckennis, Carles Thomas and Harmoni Mckennis; six sisters, one whom preceded her in death, Martha Johnson (Carey) Jackson, Mississippi, Tabbie Keller (Tommie) Jackson, Mississippi,
Necole Mckennis-Ellis Fortner, Texas and Daisy Pendleton Jackson, Mississippi: five brothers, one of whom preceded her in death, Randy (Edith), Jackson, Mississippi, Daniel, Jackson, Mississippi, Sylvester (Mattie) Jackson, Mississippi and Rico,
Jackson, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
