Obituary

Ms. Dora F. Tucker,funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Willis and Sons Funeral Home Chapel Jackson, MS at 11:00 a.m.Visitation will be Friday, April 6, 2018from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Willis and Sons Funeral Home 5235 Robinson Road Ext., Jackson MS.Interment: Garden Memorial Park Cemetery, Jackson MS.

Dora Renee Tucker was born in Los Angeles, California on June 4, 1958 to a loving mother, Nova Lee Thompson Fortenberry and the Late Zebedee Fortenberry.

?Dora was never a stranger in Christ, she joined many places of worship throughout her life.During her teenage years, the Fortenberry family relocated from Mississippi to Chicago, Illinois.It was there where she received her high school diploma.With her first child Aaron by her side, she decided to move home to Mississippi to continue her education.

She became a student at Jackson State University where she received a degree in Accounting.She then began her career with St. Dominic Business Office.During her time at St. Dominic, she touched many lives and hearts.

While attending Jackson State, she met the love of her life Lonnell Tucker.They soon married and to this union two children were born, a son Denzel and a daughter Danielle.

Dora's love for life and her bubbly personality was only exceeded by the love she had for family,friends and others she met.

Dora was preceded in death by her father, Zebedee Fortenberry.

Dora leaves to cherish he memories:her mother, Nova Lee Fortenberry of Jackson, Mississippi; two sons, Aaron Fortenberry of Clinton, Mississippi and Denzel Turcker of Jackson, Mississippi; one daughter, Danielle Tucker of Clinton, Mississippi; three sisters, Zelma Leflore (Robert, deceased), Bessie Gardner (Darryl) of Jackson, Mississippi and Jackie Barnes (Virgil) of Rochester, New York; four brothers, Rossie Fortenberry (Lynn), John Fortenberry (Janet), Calvin Fortenberry (Ebony) and Dixie Fortenberry, all of Chicago, Illinois;three granddaughters, Aariana, Angel and Angela Helom; one grandson, Aashton Fortenberry; their mother Brandi Helom; her ex-husband, Lonnell Tucker; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
