On February 11, 1952,
Eddie Mae
was born to the late G.D. and Savannah Rawls of Utica, Mississippi. She accepted Christ at an
early age at Zion Travelers Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Mixon Elementary School and graduated from Utica
High School, Class of 1971, both located in Utica, Mississippi. She was employed with Utica Industries, renamed Bernstein and
Sons Sewing Factory in Utica, Mississippi for over 30 years until her health began to decline.
Eddie Mae
married Earl Lee Marbra on November 23, 1973. They recently celebrated 51 years of marriage. Their union was blessed with three children: Lashawn, Shemica, and Anthony. She was preceded in death by: her parents, G.D. and Savannah Rawls; one brother, James, "Little Bill" Rawls; and three sisters, Ethel Bailey, Bertha Levy, and Willie Mae Delcourt.
Eddie Mae's
loving memories will linger eternally in the heart of her husband of 51 years, Earl Lee Marbra; her daughters; Lashawn Marbra and Shemica Moran; one son, Anthony Marbra; five grandchildren; Antaneq Marbra, Aniyah Marbra, Jamari Marbra, Kayleigh Gray, and Hawkins Moran; five sisters; Dorothy Clark, Pearlie Rawls both of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Adlene Durham (Gary), Lucille Rawls, and Sweetie Roper of Utica, Mississippi; a special niece that she cherished like a sister, Patricia McGee (John) of Jackson, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, friends and a special friend, Lula Bell Wilson.
