Edward Earl "Ike" Primer, the fourth child of the late Frank Primer, Sr. and the late Fannie Sample Primer, was born October 28, 1955 in
Holmes County, Mississippi. He received his education at Goodman Pickens Elementary and Durant Attendance Center in Holmes County. Ike also attended Jacob's Creek Job Corps Conservation Center in Bristol, Tennessee, where he received a degree in heavy equipment training in 1976.
Ike confessed his life to Christ at Mount Moriah Baptist Church. On Monday, February 6, 2023, Ike was called home to his eternal rest.

Ike is preceded in death by: his parents, Frank and Fannie Primer; one sister, Ruthie Edwards; and one nephew. He is survived by: one sister, Willie Mae Roby; five brothers, Frank, Jr. (Rebecca) Primer, Robert Lee Primer (Modean), William (Glenda) Lewis Primer, Timothy Gatson, and Tommy (Kim) Delaney; one uncle, Lewis Myers; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors; a brother-in-law,
Lindsey Edwards, whom he lived with since the early 90's, and one special friend, Ms. Marie Brooks of Goodman, Mississippi who loved him dearly.
