Mr. Henry Vernard Kimbrough,funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Greater Mt Mariah MB Church, Jackson, MS at 11:00 a.m.Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2018from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p. m. at Willis and Sons Funeral Home 5235 Robinson Rd Ext., Jackson MS. Interment: Pleasant Hill MB Church Cemetery, Koscuisko, MS.

Henry Vernard Kimbrough began his life on August 27, 1964 to the late Henry Lee Kimbrough and Alma Lee Tillman in Jackson, Mississippi.

Henry accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized and became a member of Greater Mount Moriah under he leadership of Reverend Curtis Houston. He later moved his membership to Hopewell Missionary Baptist church under the leadership of Reverend Otha Rockett.

Henry attended and graduated from Murrah High School with the class of 1982. He started his career by managing local McDonalds and Burger King Restaurants in the metro Jackson area. Henry wanted to pursue his dream of becoming a truck driver. He attended trucking school where he obtained his CDL license. He was given the nickname "Radio" by a friend on the road because he was known for his talkative nature, which drowned out the radio. He also attended Delta Tech as a HVAC student where he was recognized for being one of the top students in his class.

Henry's journey came to an end on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 12:43 pm at Tampa General Hospital. Henry was proceeded to death by his fathery, Henry Kimbrough; stepmother, Teresia Kimbrough; stepfather, James Tillman; sister, Carolyn Harrington-Griffin; stepbrother, Charles Tillman; maternal grandparents, Jessie and Flora Harrington and paternal grandparents Johnnie and Dorator Kimbrough of Tampa, Florida, one brother Johnnie Kimbrough of Tampa, Florida; three sisters, Veronica Collier of Jackson, Mississippi; Janene Patterson (Terence) of Tampa, Florida; Mable Kimbrough of West Point, Mississippi; two stepsisters Barbara Amos of Byram, Mississippi; Lee-Keethia Porter of Indianola, Mississippi; one stepbrother Percy Fletcher, III of Carthage, Mississippi; one special uncle William Kimbrough (Billie) of Sallis, Mississippi; three daughters he raised as his own Nikkiha Lee, Tyeshia Lee, and Tawanna Lee all of Jackson, Mississippi; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
