Mrs. Thomas will be laid to rest Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Bethlehem M. B. Church in Edwards, MS at 1:00 p.m.. Visitation will be Friday November 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Jacqueline "Jakki" Perkins was born on September 2, 1961 to Essie Williams and the late Clifton Davis.she was the oldest of five children.


She confessed Christ at an early age.She was baptized at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and later move to Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her health began to fail.


She received her education from Edwards Jr. high School, hinds A.H.S. and Utica Jr. College.She married Robert Perkins, Sr. on November 12, 1982.


She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving mother, Essie Williams of Edwards, Mississippi; the father of her children, Robert Perkins, Sr. of Vicksburg, Mississippi; her daughter, Shevaka (Travion) Bowie of Edwards, Mississippi; sons, Robert (Amy) Perkins, Jr., of Meridian Mississippi, and Kawann Williams of Edwards, Mississippi; three sisters, Sonja Williams of Edwards, Mississippi, Camille (Calvin) Thomas of Bolton, Mississippi and FeFe (Jimmy) Barnett of Edwards, Mississippi; one brother, Patrick Thomas of Atlanta, Georgia; a special aunt and uncle, Ira and Melvin Thompson of Edwards, Mississippi;four grandchildren, Amia and Shakia Bowie of Edwards, Mississippi and Jayden and Paisley Perkins of Meridian, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws, other relatives and friends.
