r. Caston will be laid to rest Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Willis & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Jackson, MS.His services will begin at 2:00 p.m.Committal will be at Greenhill Cemetery, Edwards MS.Visitation will befrom 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.,on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.

James Cal Caston was born on May, 1940, to the late Cal Caston and Goletha "Sudy" Caston, in Edwards, Mississippi.

On May 9,2015 , at 5:00 a.m. at the River Region Hospital in Vicksburg, Mississippi, after a long and courageous battle for life,James departed this life for his Father's Heavenly Home.

James confessed Christ at an early age at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Churchin Edwards, Mississippi.He later served in the Armed Forces, where he received an Honorable discharge.James lived in Lompoc, California for many years, before moving back home to Vicksburg, Mississippi.

He is preceded in death by alongtime companion, Thelma J Erving; two sisters,Johnny Caston and Gertrude He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Belinda (Goreal) Hudson of Tacoma, Washington; three grandchildren, Duane Solomon Jr., of Orlando, Florida, jayden and Nigel Dalton of Tacoma, Washington; one great grandson, Liam Solomon; two brothers, Ben Dunson, Sr., of Lompoc, California and Willie(Irene) Caston Sr., of Edwards, Mississippi; one sister, Lula (Verdisel) Stamps of Edwards, Mississsippi and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
