Johnny was born to Aljosie and OD Moriley on December 6th,1964 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Johnny made his peaceful transition at the age of (58) on May 20th, 2022, at Merit Health in Jackson, Mississippi, surrounded by loved ones who will strive to honor his memory by living their lives to the fullest. The simplest pleasures in life such as dancing, fishing, and entertaining brought the greatest joy to Johnny. He could also be
found hanging with close friends and sitting with his dad. Johnny was preceded in death by: his parents, Aljosie and OD Moriley and his brother Aljoseph Moriley. He leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Shatey Roper, Janay Roper, Latasha Roper, Senteria Dulaney (bonus daughter),
Johnny Roper, Caleb Cole and Dejohn Acker; his sisters, Linda Moriley Lomax (Stanley), Diane Johnson (Lester), and Alice Smothers (Reginald); his brothers, Tommy Moriley, Cornelius Moriley and Alonzo Moriley; and a host of grandchildren; nieces;nephews; and extended family members.
