Obituary

Mrs. Kattie Mae Lee age 56 years, of Jackson, MS died June 12, 2016 in Jackson, MS. Funeral Service
will be held at Pine Grove MB Church in Jackson, MS Monday June 20, 2016 at 11:00 o'clock am.
Visitation will Be Sunday June 19, 2016 from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Willis and Sons . For any additional information call Willis and Sons Funeral Home.
Obituary
On Sunday, June 12, 2016, God looked down from heaven and saw a soul that was tired.He reached out his hand to Kattie, and took her to a place of rest and peace.The angels rejoiced because her earthly journey had ended.God said, "Well done thy good and faithful servant! It is time to rest from thy labor."

Kattie Lee, fifth child of fourteen children was born on May 28, 1960 to the late Cleveland Ellis Sr., and Maria Ellis in Pocahontas, Mississippi.Four (4) sibling preceded her in death:James William, Robert Jackson, Cleveland Ellis, Jr., and Bessie Bell all of Jackson, MS; a mother-in-law, Maggie Lee, and one brother-in-law, John Lee.

Kattie confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and united with Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Spencer Houseworth.She remained an active member of the Mother Board, Senior Choir, Fellowship Choir,Sunday School and the Mission Ministry until her health failed.She was a member of the Laborers of the Vineyard Evangelistic Ministries for over 25 years.As a woman of true faith, God blessed Kattie with an anointed voice, in which she used and share faithfully to uplift His Name.One of Kattie favorite pass time was reading and studying the Word of God.

Kattie attended Lovett Elementary School and graduated from Sumner Hill High School, both in Clinton, Mississippi.She received her CNA license at Nursing Allied Health Center. She began her field of study as a Nurse Assistant at Hinds General in 1979, which later became Central Mississippi Medical Group (CMMC) where she continue her career as a Monitor Technician, and Cardiovascular Technician which currently is Merit Health Medical Group.Kattie was a hardworking dedicated worker for 36 years.

Kattie leaves to cherish her memory: a loving husband, David Lee; four loving children: LaKeysha (Japheth) Johnson of Meridian, MS, Lamarkus (Demetrice) Lee, Tommy (Shanna Lett, Fiance') Lee, Christy Lee (Chesmond Jordan, special friend) all of Jackson, MS, nine grandchildren:Joshua, Caleb, Emmanuel Johnson, Davion, Jorian, Jamarius Lee, Demarkius Paymon, Brooklyn (her Bubba), Kayden (her Bug) Lee; a loving and devoted mother, Maria Ellis; two brothers:Thomas Earl Ellis, Richard Ellis; thirteen sisters:Jerdena Jackson, Allie Martin, Florence Hayes all of Jackson, MS,Ernestine (Michael) Lowe of Madison, MS, Jeannette (Floyd) Thomas of Clinton, MS, Gloria McDonald, Virginia Ellis, Vera Ellis-Taylor all of Jackson, MS, Annie Ellis of Lawrenceville, GA, and Carolyn Young, Beatrice Ellis, Susie Adams all of Jackson, MS and Dorothy Nunn (Sarasota, Fl); five sisters-in-laws: Chandi Ellis, Gloria (Jimmie) Robinson, Elizabeth Lee, Diann (Glen) Cornelius, Deloris Lee; two brother-in-laws: James Robert (Sonia) Lee, Earl Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends; one God-Daughter, Kanika Williams.
