Leemarkus Kenyota "Mark/Sleepy" Haggard was born on August 24, 1978, in Jackson, Mississippi to Mr. and Mrs. Lee Haggard. He departed life on
January 15, 2023. At an early age he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church under the leaderships of the late Reverend T.J. Moreland, where he worked diligently in the church as an usher.

Mark was indeed a people person and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was always the life of the party and family jokester. There was never a dull moment when he was around. He worked with his father in masonry before leading his own path to entrepreneurship. He resided in Milwaukee, WI for over 10 years before moving to Texas where he resided for another 10 years.

Mark was preceded in death by: one brother, Cedric Shinard; grandparents, Thelman and Verlean Evans, and Walter and Johnnie Lee Haggard.
Mark leaves to cherish his memories: a son, Javion Haggard; parents, Lee and Lovette Haggard of Jackson, Mississippi; (2) sisters, Laquanda Haggard of Irving, Texas and Leadeashia Brackett (LeKenrick) of Ridgeland, Mississippi; (1) brother, Jeffrey Alexander of Clinton, Mississippi; (5) aunts Janice, Sylvia (Clarence), Trudy (Robert), Faye (Kevin), and Laureen (Robert); (6) uncles, Larry (Grace), Roy, Perry Sr., Lester (Winda), Robert (Laureen) and Michael (Marcellus); (1) great aunt, Minnie L. Carter; special cousin/brothers Shawn Cory Evans and Vincent Gaddis; a double cousin/sister Kim Evans; as well as a nieces, nephew, a host of cousins and friends.
