Mrs. Johnson will be laid to rest Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Word & Worship Church in Jackson, MS. Committal will be held at Autumn Woods Cemetery. Her services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014.

Lillie Pearl Ivory Johnson was born July 27,1923 to the late Robert "Pap" Ivory and Amelia Williams in Macon, MS.She departed this life quietly on March 7, 2014.

Lillie Pearl or "Ms. Lillie", as she was commonly known, confessed her faith in Christ and accepted Jesus as her personal Savior at an early age.She attended schools in Macon, MS and Birmingham, Al after her mother died when she was 9 years old.

Lillie Pearl worked many years as a cook at Mary C. Jones Elementary School, Lefleur's Restaurant and Al's Half Shell Restaurant.She also worked at Independent Lienen and Bell South.She will always be remembered for her humor, strength and willingness to help anyone.

Lillie Pearl was united in holy matrimony to the Late Jack Johnson on December 24, 1948.She was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Ann Young and Lillie Jeanette Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Bernard Johnson of Jackson, MS, John (Hiawatha) Johnson of Jacksonville, FL and Wilbert Ivory; three daughters, Jackie Johnson, Ruthie Johnson (Daryl) Smith, both of Jackson MS and Felecia Johnson of Byram, MS; grandchildren, Wilbert (Sharon) Ivory, Jr., of Selma, TN, Sandra Ivory (Lynn) Gray of Mt. Olive, MS, Gwendolyn Michelle (Williams) Stewart of Jackson MS Damaris (Geovona) Johnson of Byram , Jermico Johnson, Darunta Johnson, Roderick Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Adrienne Johnson, Montez Wansley all of Jackson, MS, Jermaine Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Kerry Walton of St. Paul, MSand Jonathan Johnson, Kerry Walton of St. Paul, MN and Jonathan Johnson, 27 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
