A Time To Be Born

Mrs. Lottie Mae Russell was born to the late Mr. Richard Lewis, Sr. and Mrs. Eliza T. Lewis. She united with her late husband, James Russell, Sr. and out of that union came two sons, James Russell, Jr. and Michael Russell, a daughter-in-law, Kimmie Wilson, and two grandchildren, Tryavon and James.

A Time To Live
She went on to pursue her childhood education at Mt. Moriah School and Cherry Grove Church School in Edwards, Mississippi. Lottie and her husband moved to Raymond, Mississippi to raise their family. She joined Church of Deliverance in Raymond, Mississippi under the leadership of Pastor William Cooper. She also visited other churches and the Pleasant Hill Nursing Home on Saturday's where she loved to sing. Lottie was a very spiritual person who loved God, family and friends. When the pandemic hit and she was not able to physically go to church like she wanted to, she would praise God over the phone with friends and church members, praising God and singing songs.

A Time To Die

Lottie was preceded in death by: Vertus T. Lewis (sister), Ella Mae Lewis (sister), Richard Lewis (Brother), and Dorothy J. Washington (sister).
She leaves precious memories to be cherished by two sons, James Russell, Jr. and Michael Russell, both of Raymond, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Trayvon and James; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
