Mr. Randall will be laid to rest Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Greater Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Bolton, MS. His services will begin at 1:00 p.m.Committal will be at Brookhaven Cemetery in Vicksburg, MS.


Mr. Randall Bernard Sims was the fourth child born to Mr. Bernard Linsey and Jacqueline Sims on July 14, 1988 in Vicksburg, Mississippi.He departed this life on December 21, 2014.

He received Christ into his life at an early age and was baptized at Pleasant Green Christ of Holiness in Edwards, Mississippi.

Randall attended Hinds Agricultural High School where he was an active member of the band.

Randall leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Bernard Linsey and Jacqueline Sims; a lovely fiance, Brenda Powell, Vicksburg, Mississippi; a daughter, Mariyah Sims, Vicksburg, Mississippi; four brothers, Derrick Sims of Edwards, Mississippi, Jermaine Sims of Edwards, Mississippi, Lance Sims of Virginia and Marcus Shelby of Jackson, Mississippi; four sisters, Lashonda Sims of Edwards, Mississippi, Carnekia Evans of Raymond, Mississippi, Tasha Brookshire of Memphis, Tennessee and Malissa Freeman of Raymond, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
