Robert Earl Mace was born April 8, 1953 to the late Virgil Mace, Jr. and Lela Allen Mace. He accepted the Lord at a very early age, joining Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. He completed high school in Chicago, Illinois and two years of college. Robert began employment at Chicago, Illinois Housing Authority. He moved to Los Angeles, California thirty years ago and remained there until he was called home. He loved all types of sports.
Robert Earl Mace leaves behind to cherish his memories: one son, Antion Bell of Chicago, Illinois; two sisters, Dorothy J. Smith of Jackson, Mississippi and Mary L. Hill of Los Angeles, California; One brother, Virgil Mace, III of Chicago, Illinois; one uncle, Walter Myles and wife (Juanita Myles) of Los Angeles, California; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including a special friend, Verlee King and three long time friends, Olando
Coleman, Jimmy (Parker) Johnson and Willie Kelly.
