Mr. Robert Nelson Sr.

Robert Nelson was born February 16, 1957, to Parlee Dixon and M.C. Nelson in Edwards, Mississippi. Robert accepted Christ at an early age but rededicated his life on September 25, 2024.Robert Nelson Sr. was a fun-loving and full of laughter man that developed long lasting
friendships through the years. Robert created family with everyone that he encountered. His loving spirit and giving spirit will live on in our hearts forever.

Robert's mother and father, Parlee Dixon & M.C. Nelson; Children, Robert Harold Nelson Jr., Joey Nelson, siblings, M.C. Nelson Jr. (Rose), Willie C. Nelson (Mildred), Thelma Roper, Leon Nelson, Eugene Humphery (Mary), preceded him in death. Robert H. Nelson Sr. leaves to cherish his memory: a devoted wife of 19 years, Patricia Phillips Nelson; son; Kenneth (Tonya) Tatum ; Michael Wilks (stepson); James (Betty) Nelson of Jackson, Mary Nelson of Edwards, Carrie Nelson of Byram, Leevella Harris of Jackson, Sue Ann Mack of Edwards, Laura Grayson of Jackson and an abundance of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
