Ms. Shirley Ann Maxwell
On October 27, 1949 a tiny, sweet bud blossomed on a "Lee Tree" to begin life in a new world. The tree carried the name of the late James W and Georgia Lee. On this day, a baby bud which they named Shirley Ann Lee made her grand entrance and bloomed into a beautiful flower.

At an early age, Shirley confessed her life to Christ and united with the Central Church of God she later became a member of Servant of God Church where she remained until her death.

Shirley was educated at Lanier High School in Jackson, Mississippi. ... the sparrow has found a home. Psalm 84:3
Shirley Ann
was united in Holy matrimony to Charles T. Crowley. Four wonderful children were born:
Craig, Rhonda, Shelia and Latonya Crowley.
Shirley
found new love in her later years and married Johnny
Maxwell; no children were born from this marriage.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us and establish the work of our hands. Psalm 70:17.
Shirley's
employment included her working as a Nurse Assistant and Retail Sales at Dillard Department
Store.
For I am ready to be poured out like a drink offering and the time of my departure is near, I have fought a
good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me a crown of
righteousness... II Timothy 4:6-8
On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, Shirley , heard the voice of Jesus say, "Come unto me all yea who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest." She answered the call with her son and daughter in love who provided her with solace and comfort during her transition. And her legacy continues...
Shirley's
legacy of kindness and love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends; leaving behind a
reminder to us all to cherish the moments. She leaves to cherish her memory: her only son, Craig (Maxine)
Crowley; her grandchildren: Craig Crowley, Jr., Gabrielle Crowley, Chassidy Crowley, Sarah Danielle
Crowley, Jailen Crowley, Nephatini (Justin) Walls, Rashaad and Rashaund Crowley, Kingston Crowley and
Kinota Crowley, a host of great-grandchildren; her sisters Mahalia Lee, Sandra Taylor and Patricia Blackmon,
nieces, nephews and other family members.
