Obituary

Stephanie Yolanda McGee-Warren was born February 10, 1978, to the late Lottie Mae McGee and Tommy Lee Rafes of Champaign, Illinois. Stephanie accepted Christ at an early age and joined Bethlehem M. B. Church of Edwards, Mississippi where she attended until her death.

Stephanie and Monoleito Warren joined Holy Matrimony on March 16, 2018. She attended school at Edwards Elementary School and Hinds Agricultural High School and Hinds Agricultural High School. Stephanie began her career at Tyson Foods, where she was currently employed. Over the years she worked at Bolton- Edwards Elementary School Cafeteria, Hinds Community College, Chevron Store, and as a Caregiver.

On Sunday, November 27, 2022, around 4:00 in the evening at her home in Edwards, Mississippi with her loving husband and family by her side, God reached down into his garden to pluck one of his flowers.

In addition to her mother, one sibling Vivian McGee and one nephew Jordan McGee preceded her in death.

Stephanie McGee-Warren leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted husband Monoleito Warren of Edwards, Mississippi, five children, Jada and Jejuan McGee of Edwards, Mississippi, Aron Carter of Jackson, Mississippi, Kereiotta Smith of Clinton, Mississippi, and Montavis Warren of Byram, Mississippi; one granddaughter, Kaylyn McGee of Edwards, Mississippi; four sisters, Mary Tarvin of Edwards, Mississippi, Stacy Rafes of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Linda Mitchell of Grand Prairie, Texas, Yolanda Rafes of Jackson, Mississippi, three brothers, J.D. McGee Jr. of Bryan, Texas, Tremaine Shelby of Edwards, Mississippi, and Fredrick Shelby of Clinton, Mississippi; one aunt Clementine Horton of Edwards, Mississippi; loving mother and father-in-law, Denise and Wayne Payton of Byram, Mississippi; 10 neices and nephews, DeWayne (Shavodka) Tarvin of Gluckstadt, Mississippi, Devin Tarvin, and Tiffany McGee of Edwards, Mississippi, Niki McGee and LaTiesha McGee of Jackson, Mississippi, Jarvis McGee, Jorcoery McGee, and Justin McGee of Dallas, Texas; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
