Steven Lee McKennis, was born February 21, 1969 in Hinds County.He was the first born of three sons.
Steven departed this life on September 23, 2017 in Dallas, Texas.He was a baptized believer and a hard worker in the church.
He was born to Martha Johnson and the late Leroy Caston.He leaves to cherish his memories:his mother and step father, Carey James Johnson; two brothers, Lonnie Brown of Frisco, Texas and Nicolas Toney of Dallas, Texas; one grandmother Thelma McKennis of Jackson, Mississippi; one grandfather Charlie McKennis of Jackson, Mississippi; three aunts, Tabbie Keller (Tommie) Jackson, Mississippi, Necole McKennis Ellis (Louis) Carollton, Texas; four uncles, Randy McKennis, Jackson, Mississippi, Daniel McKennis, Jackson, Mississippi, Sylvester KcKennis (Max), Jackson, Mississippi, and Reco McKennis, Jackson, Mississippi; great uncle, Augusta Mediars; and a host of cousins, friends and church family that will miss him dearly.
