On Monday, October 10, 2022, Thelma Ham heard the voice of Jesus say come unto me an d rest.

Thelma Ham, affectionally known as "Big Ma" , was born to the late Charlie Johnson and Leola Carter Johnson in Raymond, MS on August 17, 1934. She was preceded in de a th by her siblings, Queen Ester Hill (sister), JC Johnson (brother). Thelma attended Hamilton Grove Elementary / Junior High and Utica Institute. In 1954, Thelma met her best friend and love of her l ife, the late Ernest Ham. Married in Bovina, MS in 1954, Thelma and Ernest moved from Mississippi to Miami, FL to begin their new life.

Thelma was blessed with a large loving family and was a dedicated mother. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. Thelma (Ernest) le a ves behind; six sons, Ozell Johnson (Mentha) of Tyngsboro, MA, Ernest Ham, Jr. (Jennifer) of Miami, FL, Robert Ham (Merita) of Stone Mountain, GA, Alfred Ham (R ho nda), Edward Ham (Barbara) all of Miami, FL, Carl Ham (Mary) of Universal, TX, Rodney Ham (deceased); four daughters, Nancy Smith (Raymond), Catherine Ham, Tresia Pratt (Paul), and Shirley Ham, all of Miami, FL.

"Big Ma" left 22 grandchildren behind:
