Her Life
Dignity, elegance, and courageous are all words that described Theresa Gray Williams. Theresa was born December 14, 1963, in Madison, MS to the late Bertha Lee Caldwell. She was the youngest of twelve children. Theresa united in Holy Matrimony to Terry Williams on August 3, 1985. Therese gave her life to Christ and was baptized at Christ Temple Church, Tougaloo, MS in 1997.
Theresa graduated from Madison Ridgeland High School in 1981 and furthered her education at Phillips College and received a diploma for Word Processing Specialist in 1985. Theresa started work at Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance in 1987. During this time, she furthered her education by attending Belhaven College. While going through renal failure, dialysis, and kidney transplant surgery she earned a Bachelor of Science in management in 2004. She continued her education and went on to earn her Master of Science in Management in 2006.Theresa retired from Farim Bureau Casualty Company in 2020 after giving faithful service for 33 years. She was a quiet and sweet loving person, who loved shopping, crating, taking care of her husband, son and most of all she loved spending time with her granddaughters.
Her Legacy
On July 8th, The Lord added another beautiful precious flower to his garden. Her mother Bertha Caldwell, two sisters Felisha Brown, Emma Harvey, two brothers Jimmie Lee James and Nathan Caldwell Sr., all proceeded her in death. She leaves to cherish memories to her beloved husband, Terry Williams; loving son Brandon Williams; two granddaughters, Brainna and Bailee; brothers, James Arthur James; Wilbert (Verna) Caldwell; sister Ella ( George) Philipps, Betty Lowe, Boris Stovall, Gloristeen (George) Brown, Annie James, and Mary (Charles) Funchess; sister-in- laws Deborah Caldwell; Deborah Williams; and Stacey Williams; a special niece Amber Funchess, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
