Obituary

Deacon W.D. (T) Bradley Sr. was born January 4, 1923 in Edwards, MS, to the late Lillie Bell Adams Bradley and Willie (Sonny) Bradley. He confessed Christ at an early age at Pilgrim Rest MB Church in Edwards, MS, and was later baptized again at Ratliff Chapel MB Church.

W.D. Sr. attended grade school, but later attended Bonner Campbell College where he received his GED. He joined in holy matrimony to the late Mary Lessie Carter Bradley, and to this union eight children were born. W.D. Sr would later marry, Eula (Mae) Bradley on March 5,2000. W. D. Sr. was a World War II veteran where he served in Japan. Deacon Bradley served on the Bolton Police Department as a honorary captain from 1969-1997 and with the MS State Highway Department for many years. He also has served on the deacon board for over 70 years. Deacon Bradley loved being a farmer, fisherman, & telling his war stories. He was a loving family man & had very close and personal relationship with
God.

W.D. Sr was called home on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillie & Willie Bradley, one daughter, Pattie Bradley Johnson & one son, Willie Earl Bradley. two sisters Annie Mae Robinson & Melverene King & four brothers Simely ,Steve, Charlie, & Robert Bradley. He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted wife, Eula (Mae) Bradley; three daughters, Gloria Gaddis, Linda Murray (Willie), and Jacqueline Bailey; one bonus daughter Shantel Jones; three sons, WD Bradley Jr., Thurmond Bradley, & James Bradley; one bonus son, Patrick Jones; one daughter in law, Earlean Bradley; twenty grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, & three great great grandchildren: four sisters, Annie Harvey, Lillie Hill, Minnie Thomas, & Madgeree Harvey.
